Virtues Classes for Children and Youth

Classes that teach positive spiritual virtues are being formed throughout the Florida Panhandle in response to community interest.

If you'd like to enroll your child in classes in the Fort Walton Beach-Navarre area on the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of each month, call Linda Long at 850.581.4444

For classes in Milton on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, call Daffraneeze Riley at 850.623.5315.

In Pensacola, Children's classes are held every Sunday morning in the Bellview area from 10:30am to 11:30am.  They are based on Book 3 of the Ruhi Institute materials dedicated to the Education of children.  The children enjoy immersing themselves in the Word of God, singing uplifting songs, listening to stories, playing unifying games and reinforcing the lesson of the day through artwork.  They eagerly anticipate each class, unceasingly asking their parents if Sunday has arrived.  Please call 850-332-0540 for directions or if you have any questions.  We would love to see you!

MY THREE DAYS by: Jacob Zuniga

Click on the link above to download the award winning story written by the young 8th grade grandson of a good friend, special soul and loving Bahá'í, Yolanda Morgan, who lives and serves the Faith in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Jacob and his grandmother are Native Americans, and examples to the world as 'Abdu'l-Bahá said; "You must attach great importance to the Indians, the original inhabitants of America. . . . Should these Indians be educated and properly guided, there can be no doubt that through the Divine teachings they will become so enlightened that the whole earth will be illumined.  (Compilations, NSA USA - Developing Distinctive Baha'i Communities)

Yolanda recently wrote to say; "I feel that the whole world needs to check out their senses.....(Jacob) my Grandson had an Appendix attack and went to the hospital and they sent him home with the flu. He passed away three days later. March 11, 2006. He was so gifted...(and obviously so well loved, that) 600 people came to his funeral.  It is heart-breaking to bury a grandson and watch a son in pain at the same time."
